ST. ALBANS — Eunice M. (Brace) Locke unexpectedly passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015.

Eunice was always a very loving, caring and giving person.  She was put on this earth to enrich and bring joy into everyone’s life.  This Eunice accomplished far beyond any possible expectations.  What a wonderful person.  Eunice will be greatly missed and forever remembered by everyone.

She was predeceased by her mother, Edilene Brace; father, Fred “Manny” Brace; sisters, Helen and Ellen; brother, Charlie, and a very special person in her life, Donald E. Blodgett.

Eunice is survived by her husband, Daniel C. Locke; daughter, Danielle L. Locke; son, Daniel R. Locke and grandsons, Caleb, Brandon and Dustin.  She is also survived by her brothers, Fred, Jim, Eugene and James Brace and her sister, Janice Lotowitz and many other loving family members as well as special friends, Bruce and Donna Ryan, Sue Guyette, Danny Martell and many others, too numerous to list.

Eunice also had a special place in her heart for Crystal Roddy and her family.

Eunice worked at Spartan’s, Headstart, and the City School. For years she was a leader of a Brownie Troop and Girl Scout Troop. She also volunteered at places for challenged children and young adults.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 So Main St. with a service to follow at 4 p.m.
