ST. ALBANS — Elva Beckmann Ruggiano, 90, of Palm Bay, Fla., died peacefully on Nov. 15.

She was granted her wish to join, husband, Samuel Ruggiano, who left this earth in 2009. She loved her travels with Sam, visiting countries around the world; her favorite place was Sicily.  Elva will be remembered as an adoring and proud wife mother and grandmother.

Elva is survived by her five children, Patricia B. Schmidt and husband, Thomas, of East Syracuse, N.Y., Joseph J. Ruggiano and wife, Linda, of Palm Bay, Fla., Susan Jacobson of Lincoln Park, N.J., Lori Mongada and husband, Phil, of Sutton, Mass., and Samuel H. Ruggiano and wife Kimberly, of Bakersfield; 10 grandchildren, Thomas, Anthony, Brian, Nicholas, Anthony, Christina, Matthew, Rebecca, Emily and Olivia; five great grandchildren, Xiamara, Thomas, Samantha, Isabella, and Ava; a sister, Doris Priebe, of Charleston, S.C.
