ST. ALBANS — A student hopped on the lime green and turquoise bike and pumped the pedals, trying to spin the back wheel as fast as possible.
Sophomore Christian Rocki wasn’t trying to go anywhere. In fact, the front wheel remained locked in place. Instead, Rocki was making a smoothie.
Every pump of the pedal went to spin the back wheel, which was attached to blender on the rear bike rack. The faster the wheel went, the quicker the bananas, orange juice and frozen berries were churned.
