ST. ALBANS — Mrs. Donna W. Krupp, age 87, died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Northwestern Medical Center. She was born in Newport Center, April 15, 1928, daughter of the late Don and Zetta (Armstrong) Whipple. On June 7, 1952 she married Donald R. Krupp. Mr. Krupp died Oct. 5, 1998.

She operated a bookkeeping service for W.E. Krupp, Inc. and Handy’s Auto Dealerships, and co owner with A. N. Cartier, and later the Krupp Bookkeeping Service in St. Albans until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #1 and a former member of the Franklin County Business and Professional Women. She was a member of the Vermont 251 Club, traveling our state and taking pictures of every post office and covered bridge. She enjoyed playing cards, spending winters in Florida, and the camp on Maquam Shore.

Donna is survived by her three children, Gail Jarvis and her husband, Steven, of Swanton, Robert Krupp and his wife, Sally, of St. Albans, and Bruce Krupp of Seattle, Wash.; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Donald, she was predeceased by a brother, Ross Whipple, and sisters, Helen Simino and Leah Hansen, along with a step-granddaughter, Sara Aucoin.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10 a.m., in the Brady and Levesque Funeral Chapel, with Reverend Megan Stowe officiating. The family will receive condolences at the funeral home, 86 South Main St. on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be later this spring in the Krupp family lot in the St. Albans Bay Cemetery.
