SHELDON — David D. Dibler, age 33, died unexpectedly on arrival at the Northwestern Medical Center, Feb. 13, 2014.  He was born in Burlington on June 22, 1980, son of Alan Dibler, Sr. and Mary (Bevins) Dibler.  David worked as a tire and lubrication specialist at WalMart, but his childhood passion became reality when he became a firefighter with the Sheldon Fire Department, where he also served as Safety Officer.

David is survived by his parents Alan and Mary Dibler, his brothers Shawn and Alan Dibler, Jr., his fiancé Elizabeth Paradee, all of Sheldon, his maternal grandmother Mary Bevins of St. Albans, a niece Emily Dibler, and many cousins and friends.  He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Donald Bevins, and paternal grandparents Howard Dibler and Frances Songer.
