ST. ALBANS —  Dareen Belanger passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at the U.V.M. Medical Center.

Born in St. Albans on Dec. 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Edith (McFarlane) Williamson.

Dareen was employed for 26 years at the Fonda Container Corporation.  Following retirement she worked for Vermont Associates and Abuse and Rape Crisis Center.

Survivors include her sister-in-law, Patricia Williamson; nieces and nephews, Lesleigh and Don Jarrett, Michael and Elaine Williamson, Priscilla and Dan Dupelle, Kathleen Wright, Jane Wright and several great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel “Pat” Belanger; siblings, Stuart, Reginald, Leslie, Lois; and nephew, Danny.

Dareen was a selfless individual who was loved by all whose path she crossed. At Dareen’s request there will be no funeral services. Messages of condolence to her family are welcome at www.healdfuneralhome.com.
