Maybe, in a year or two, when Missisquoi Valley Union’s 12 freshmen and sophomores have gained some valuable experience, the Thunderbirds will be able to keep up with rival BFA-St. Albans and the Comets’ depth.

But for now, one of the top team in the state keeps rolling four lines against thinner competition, adding up to the Comets’ 6-0 win over MVU (2-8-1) Wednesday in the first game of a BFA hockey double header.
