FAIRFIELD — On Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, Emily Elizabeth Christie, daughter of Timothy and Elizabeth Christie of St. Albans, married Nicholas Robert Norris, son of Robert and Elizabeth Norris of Sheldon.
The double ring ceremony was held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fairfield and was officiated by Father William Giroux. The reception was held at The Barn At Boyden Farm.
The Maid(s) of Honor was Kris Senesac, friend of the bride, and Hallie Robtoy, daughter of the bride. The bridesmaids were Katherine Christie, sister of the bride, Samantha Burnell, friend of the bride, Maegan Garrett, friend of the bride, Jessica Brown, sister of the groom, Gina Norris, sister in law of the groom, and Courtney Norris, sister in law of the groom.
The Best Men were Christopher Norris and Michael Norris, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Benjamin Christie, brother of the bride, Andrew Christie, brother of the bride, Tyler Howrigan, friend of the groom, Edwin Smith, friend of the groom, Derrick Smith, friend of the groom, Derek Cadieux, friend of the groom, and Travis McDonald, friend of the groom.
Junior Groomsmen were Gabriel and Jacob Brown, nephews of the Groom. The ring bearer was Keegan Norris, nephew of the groom and the flower girl was Violet LaRose, niece of the bride.
The couple honeymooned in Italy in the month of October.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Champlain College and is employed with Northwestern Counseling and Support Services. The groom is a 2014 graduate of Johnson State College and is employed with the Department of Homeland Security. The couple will make their home in Sheldon, Vermont.
