ST. ALBANS — Charles Scott Buckland Jr., 31, born Oct. 13, 1983, passed away suddenly on Dec. 18, 2014 at his St. Albans residence.

A ceremonial celebration of his life will be shared at Curtis-Britch-Converse-Rushford Funeral Home on 4670 Darling Hill Road, Newport, on Jan. 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. Bring a memory and expect a hug!

Charles Jr. loved life, children, family and friends young and old. Football was his favorite time of the year for sports. He was an avid Redskins fan! He could make anyone smile in an instant; and he always gave a helping hand no matter the conditions. Charles was a Christian and Baptized in Jesus name. He was saved, thank you Lord. He had also accomplished his G.E.D. and High School Diploma! He was a loving son, brother and friend.

He is predeceased by his Grandfather’s George Wright Buckland Sr. and Irwin Piper. his grandmother Jennie Buckland and his great grandmother Laura Lontine.

He is survived by his father Charles Scott Buckland Sr. and stepmother Catherine Buckland, Lafayette, Ind. His mother Shari McAllister and her significant other, David Parenteau, of Newport, Vt. Stepfather Mark McAllister of Barton, Vt. His Brothers Josh McAllister and his wife, Casey Burke, Nathan and Max Motto of Indiana, and Pete Moore of, N.M. Hi sisters Carrie McAllister McAllister of Connecticut, Gretchen Garrison of Maine, Tara Patten of Derby, Summer, Savannah, Shauna Agee Missouri, by his grandmother Gloria Reynolds and her husband Brad of Newport, Vt.,  Step-Moms Denise Jones of Missouri and Maria Motto of Indiana. His Aunts Julie Piper of South Carolina, Dorothy and Junior Blake of Quebec. His Uncles Jon Piper of North Carolina, Craig and Becky Buckland, Ron and Rochelle Moss, and Allen and Venyse Moss all of Florida. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Megan Jefferson, and by her daughter Brooke.
