FAIRFAX — Carol Ann Fontanilles, 66, of Fairfax, died Feb. 7, 2014 following a stroke.

She was born June 14, 1947 in Yonkers, N.Y., the daughter of Cy and Angie Caserta. Following college she married Henry (Hank) Fontanilles. They made their home in Fishkill, N.Y., then in Pleasant Valley, N.Y., where they raised two sons. They moved to Vermont in 2004.

She is survived by her husband Hank; two sons, John of Ripton, Mark of Fairfax; her sister Louise Caserta Thompson and husband Donald of Stowe.

Arrangements were made by the Cremation Society of Chittenden County, a division of the Ready Family, 261 Shelburne Road in Burlington.  A service will be held in the spring in New York.
