RICHFORD — Bruce E. Dupra, age 71, passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at the St. Albans Health & Rehab Facility follow a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Fort Covington, N.Y. on May 7, 1944 the son of the late Arthur and Marion (Slayton) Dupra.

Bruce was a carpenter by trade and in his later years he enjoyed carrying on his woodworking tradition by making wooden toys and ornaments.

He is survived by his truly devoted wife, Bonnie (Lumbra) Dupra, of Richford. Bruce and Bonnie were married Aug. 7, 1965. He is also survived by his son, Tony Dupra and Kathy Royea of Richford; and his daughter, Sonya Greeno and William Demag of St. Albans; his granddaughter, Alexis Dupra; Kathy’s children, Sonia and Katie Brassil; Sonia’s daughter, Mariah; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Bruce was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no memorial service or visiting hours.
