RICHFORD — Brian R. Ladeau, 76, of Milford, Mass., passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 in the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford. He was the husband of Georgia (Palmer) Ladeau.

Brian had been employed as a machinist for Adcole Corp., Marlboro for 15 years and had previously worked for Data General in Southborough.

He was born Nov. 14, 1937 in Newport, V.T., the son of the late Archie and Helen (Nash) Ladeau and was a graduate of Richford High School, Richford in 1956. He had also served in the US Navy, attaining the rank of Petty Officer.

Brian enjoyed car racing and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife, Georgia, of 49 years, he is survived by three daughters, Doreen Ladeau of Grafton, Mass., Nadine Ladeau and Roy Vaz, and Amanda Ladeau and Brian Prentiss, all of Milford, Mass., eight grandchildren; Kristopher and Patrick Moutinho, Chloe, Jake, Elijah and Lyam Vaz, Michaela Gouchie and Braydan Benoit; several foster children whom he considered his own, and four foreign exchange students. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Michael Gouchie.

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford, Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New England Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
