Natalie takes care of the paper’s calendars, obituaries, and social news. She is always eager to hear about exciting community happenings. A 2009 graduate of Bellows Free Academy, St. Albans, Natalie earned a Bachelor’s in Media Studies, Journalism & Digital Arts from St. Michael’s College in Colchester. She did news and feature reporting for the college’s student newspaper, The Defender, and while at BFA wrote for The Mercury, the high school’s student paper. She has served a media and communications internship with Women Helping Battered Women of Burlington, and a social media internship with the Vermont Dept. of Liquor Control in Montpelier. She has experience as a public relations intern with Champlain & Heineberg Senior Centers in Burlington, and did online marketing for her family’s business, Handy Buick GMC Cadillac in St. Albans.
