ST. ALBANS — Audrey N. Lemery, 94, of St. Albans, and formerly of Braintree, died Saturday night, March 5, 2016 at Holiday House in St. Albans.
She was born May 16, 1921 in Randolph, the daughter of Charlie and Lula (Johndro) Davis. She was raised in Braintree and East Granville, and was married to Perlie P. Lemery on Nov. 10, 1945 in West Hampton, Mass. She had been a child provider for many years, and had worked as a housekeeper at Gifford Medical Center in Randolph. Audrey had also worked in the cafeteria at Norwich University. She enjoyed reading, flower gardening, and cooking and was a member of the United Churches of Randolph and Swanton.
Survivors include her son, Perlie M. Lemery of Northfield; daughters, Lana Tucker of Northfield and Linda Lemery of St. Albans; sister, Charlene Gehlbach of Westford; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, and by her siblings, Richard Davis, Norman Davis, Arden Davis, Fleda Stone, and Geneva Deyette.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 11 at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph, with Pastor Thomas Harty, officiating. There are no calling hours.
