The public has begun to make use of the art wall located along Swanton’s Merchants Row. Local artist Scott Rheaume painted Calvin and Hobbes, leaving some empty space which was filled in by local preschoolers making colorful handprints. Others then used the handprints as part of a stick figure, which has since been converted to a snowman with the hands of a preschooler. Anyone is welcome to try their hand at creating art on Swanton’s art walls.
