EAST HARTFORD, CONN. — Mrs. Angela M. Nagle, age 87, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at the St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, Conn. She was born in Portland, Conn. on June 18, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor (Salemi) Milardo. Oct. 15, 1964, she married John “Jack” Nagle, Jr. Angela worked at Finest Supermarkets in Connecticut as a sales lady. After moving to St. Albans, she continued her career in sales with Nate’s Men’s Clothing, and many other stores in our area. She lived in St. Albans, for 17 years. She was a member of Holy Angels Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister to people in the hospital, homes and nursing facilities. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne, and the Holy Angels Choir. She was a volunteer for the Pastoral Care service, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Northwestern Medical Center.

Angela is survived by her children, Brenda Damiata, and Deanna Breton and her husband Michael, Paul Nagle and his wife Frances, all of East Hartford, Conn., Sharon Dawiczyk of Manchester, Conn., and John Nagle and his wife Nikki of Bradenton, Fla.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister Jeannie Little and her brother Joseph Milardo both of Portland, Conn. Besides her parents and husband Jack, Angela was predeceased by a grandson Joshua Dawiczyk, her sisters Josephine Russo, Rose Golia, Valentina Pissoferrato, and brothers Anthony, Mickey, Salvatore, and Louis Milardo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Church. The family will receive condolences in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., St. Albans, VT, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass.
