Berard – Houalla

    MONTREAL, QUEBEC – Jennifer Berard, daughter of Sarah & Raymond Reed of Sheldon, and Richard Berard & Charlene Gless of Fairfield, and Tarek Houalla, son of Ghassan & Sonia Houalla of Limassol, Cyprus, were united in marriage on Sept. 1, 2007.
    The Reverend Robert Clark officiated at the double ring ceremony at St. Patrick’s Basilica in Montreal.
    Ellen Raymond, best friend of the bride, was the Matron of Honor. Stephanie and Brittany Berard and Stacey Reed, sisters of the bride, were the bridesmaids. Faith Reed, niece of the bride, was the flower girl.
    Talal Houalla, brother of the groom, was the Best Man. Camil Yazbeck and Hani Nammour were the groomsmen.
    A formal reception was held at The Delta Centre-Ville Hotel in Montreal.
    Mrs. Houalla graduated from BFA in St. Albans and received her B.Sc. at McGill University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Neuroscience at McGill University. Her husband obtained his B.Sc. at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. at McGill University in Montreal.
    The couple spent their honeymoon in Quebec City and plan to make their home in Montreal.





Messier – Chevalier

    FRANKLIN – Mr. & Mrs. Micheal & Bonnie Messier of Franklin are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Messier, to Matthew Chevalier, son of Mr. & Mrs. Robert & Kelly Chevalier of Swanton.
    Miss Sarah Messier is a 2004 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School and is currently a student studying Dental Hygiene.
    Mr. Matthew Chevalier is a 2002 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School and is presently employed at St. Albans Co-op.
    A June 2008 wedding is planned.





 

 

 

Stowe – Cadieux

    HIGHGATE – Candace Lynn Stowe, daughter of Cindy & Richard Morris of Swanton, and Carl & Marilyn Harris of Claremont, N.H., and Matthew Steven Cadieux, son of Nancy & Steve Cadieux of Highgate, were united in marriage on Dec. 30, 2007.
    The double ring ceremony was performed by Richard Thompson, Justice of the Peace, in bride and groom’s home in Highgate at 4 p.m.
    The Maid of Honor was Shelby Cadieux, bride and groom’s daughter. The Best Man was Michael Stowe, son of the bride.
    A reception will be held at a later date this summer.
    The bride graduated from MVU and is employed at Franklin County Rehab in St. Albans as a LNA.
    The groom graduated from MVU and is employed at Granite Pharmacy in Georgia as Pharmacy Tech.
