Fortin  - Quackenbush

    ISLE LA MOTTE - Ashleigh Renee Fortin, daughter of Claude & Lucie Fortin of Highgate, and Michael William Quackenbush, son of Roger & Deborah Quackenbush of Altmar, N.Y., were united in marriage on June 16, 2007.
    A ceremony was performed by Father Brian Cummings at St. Anne’s Shrine, Isle La Motte, at 1 p.m. The reception was held at The Abbey in Sheldon, with music by Top Hat DJ.
    The Maid of Honor was Christine Martelle (best friend of bride). Bridesmaids were Sarah Tebbetts (friend of bride), Lisa Crowe (friend of bride), Sabrina Avants (friend of bride), Sarah Quackenbush (cousin of groom), and Natalie Reed (friend of bride).
    The Best Man was Kevin Davis (best friend of groom). Ushers were Brooks Gagne (cousin of bride), Alain Fortin (brother of bride), Daniel Fortin (brother of bride), Jason Nattress (friend of groom), and Adam Benjamin (friend of groom).
    The flower girl was Emily Noel (cousin of bride). The ring bearers were Andre Noel (cousin of bride), and Hunter Fortin (godson of couple).
    The bride graduated from MVU High School, and the University of Hawaii. She is employed at North Country Academy as a preschool teacher.
    The groom graduated from APW High School in Parish, N.Y. He is employed in the United States Navy.
    The newlyweds have made their home in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.




Choiniere - Juaire

    ST. ALBANS - Kristin Renee Choiniere, daughter of Ernest Choiniere & Debra Vigneault of Swanton, and Matthew David Juaire, son of Ronald & Denise Juaire of Highgate, were united in marriage on Saturday May 19, 2007.
    The double ring ceremony was performed by Father Roy at Holy Angels Parish in St. Albans at 12 p.m.
    The maid of honor was Chrystal Juaire, step-sister of the bride. The bride's attendants were Wendy Cummings, cousin of the bride; Katie Coleman, cousin of the bride; Angela Carr, sister of the groom; and Micheline Kelly, sister of the groom.
    The best man was Micheal Juaire, twin brother of the groom. Ushers were Daniel Juaire, brother of the groom; Chad Carr, brother-in-law of the groom; Tom Shedrick, friend of the groom; and Floyd Moodie, friend of the groom.
    The flower girl was Catherine Juaire, niece of the bride and groom. The ring bearers were Landon Juaire, nephew of the bride and groom, and Mason Juaire, nephew and Godson of the bride and groom.
    The reception was held at the American Legion in St Albans. The caterer for the event was Lise Gates of the Dairy Center. The music was provided by Dan Juaire of Now & Then DJ Service. Dana Trudell was the couple’s wedding photographer.
    The bride and groom both graduated from Missisquoi Valley Union High School. The bride is currently employed by SCOT as a data entry clerk. The groom is currently employed at Office Quarters as an Account Consultant.
    The couple will be going on a honeymoon in the spring of 2008.They have made their home in Swanton.




Chaplin – Bingham

    ST. ALBANS – Mr. Wayne LaPan & Ms. Marilyn Demar of St. Albans are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann Chaplin, to Randy Michael Bingham, son of Mr. & Mrs. Steven Bingham of South Royalton, Vt.
    Ms. Chaplin is a 1986 graduate of Bellows Free Academy-St. Albans and is presently employed at NCSS.
    Mr. Bingham is a 1994 graduate of South Royalton High School and is presently employed at Prime Service Center.
    A May 3, 2008 wedding is planned.




Dewey - Stout

    HIGHGATE - Douglas and Susan Dewey of Highgate are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Karen Ann Dewey, to Timothy Roy Stout, son of Peter Stout of Rutland and Leah Stout of St. Albans.  
    Karen is a graduate of MVU and Castleton State College and is currently working at Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans.
    Tim is a graduate of Rutland High School and is currently employed at IBM in Essex Junction.
    An August 2008 wedding is planned.




 

 

Pezzula – Tatro

    ST. ALBANS – Ms. Christiana J. Pezzula and Mr. Robert A. Tatro, both of St. Albans, are pleased to announce their engagement.
    Ms. Pezzula is the daughter of Mrs. Joycelyn, Mr. Arthur Mowers of Rome, N.Y.
    Mr. Tatro is the son of Ms. Mary Gervais of St. Albans & Mr. Robert H. Tatro of Winooski.
    Ms. Pezzula is a 1984 graduate of Waurika, High School in Waurika, Okla. Mr. Tatro is a 1982 graduate of BFA-St. Albans.
    A July 2008 wedding is planned.




Fiske – Smith

    ST. ALBANS – Kimberly Fiske, daughter of Dan & Karen Fiske of Georgia, and Christian Smith, son of Eric Smith of Milton & Stephanie O’Brien of Fairfax, were united in marriage on June 2, 2007.
    The ceremony was performed by Bruce Patterson in Northside Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
    The Maid of Honor was Kendra Fiske, sister. The bride’s attendants were Melissa Smith, Rachel Whiting, and Jennifer Greenwell.
    The Best Man was Jesse Mattison, step brother. Ushers were Matt Perry and Rob Rock.
    The flower girl was Violette Smith, daughter of the groom.
    A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
    The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Kauai, Hawaii. They have made their home in Fairfax.
