St. Cyr - Howarth

STOWE – Danielle St. Cyr, daughter of Jean & Linda St. Cyr of Enosburg Falls, and James Howarth, son of Dean Howarth & the late Jacqueline Howarth of Richford, were united in marriage on Oct. 6, 2007.

The double ring ceremony was performed by Joe Luneau, Justice of the Peace, at Green Mountain Inn in Stowe.

The Matron of Honor Jennifer Montague, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelly St. Cyr (sister-in-law of bride), Jen West and Megan Bourque, friends of bride. The flower girls were Kamryn Montague, niece of the bride, and Abby Fadden, niece of the groom.

The Best Man was Jamie West, friend of the groom. Ushers were Aaron Trudeau and Seth Blanchard, friends of the groom.

A reception took place at Green Mountain Inn in Stowe.

The bride is a graduate of Enosburg Falls High School and Champlain College. She is employed as a Neurological Regional Sales Manager with Dynasplint Systems, Inc.

The groom is a graduate of Richford High School and St. Michael's College. He is employed as a Global Operations Manager with Adidas.

The newlyweds took a wedding trip to Bar Harbor, Maine. They have made their home in Norwood, Mass.

 

 

 

 

DeCell 40th Anniversary

ST. ALBANS - George and Lillian (Lamothe) DeCell celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Oct. 27, 2007, at the American Legion in St. Albans with approximately 130 family and friends. The celebration was hosted by their children: Shannon and her husband, Rosaire Laroche of Swanton, and George Jr. and his wife, Estelle (Ferland) of Fairfax.

Shannon and George Jr. each shared thoughts and memories of their parents and the lives they had given them. Refreshments and cake were served. Collage boards were displayed of George and Lillian’s lives with their family and friends.

George and Lillian were married by the Reverend Benjamin Wysolmerki on Oct. 28, 1967, in Our Lady of the Lake Church at St. Albans Bay. They have made their home in St. Albans the entire 40 years.

George works for the State of Vermont at the Agency of Transportation as the General Foreman of District 8. He has worked for the state for 42 years.

Lillian was a stay at home mom until their children entered school. She has been employed for the past 20 years as a LNA and as a receptionist at Franklin County Home Health in St. Albans.

They continue to be very involved in the lives of the children as well as their six grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

Jette - Bushey

Andre Jette of Enosburg and Beth Hunter of Swanton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Michelle Jette, to Joshua Patrick Bushey, son of Lisa Brooks & Justin Smith of St. Albans, and Bill Bushey of Freer, Texas.

Andrea is a 2003 graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Vermont. She is currently employed at U-32 High School as Head Athletic Trainer and Assistant Athletic Director.

Joshua is a 2002 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans and is currently employed with Farrell Distributors.

 

 

 

 

Manning – Michaels

TUCSON, Ariz. – Roxanne A. Manning, daughter of Bev & Norm Manning, formerly of St. Albans, and Alan Michaels, son of Peg & the late Michael Rowey of Tucson, Ariz., were united in marriage on June 2, 2007.

The bride will use her own name: Roxanne Manning. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. George Darmody at The Westin La Paloma at 9 a.m.

The bride wore a cream-colored lace dress from Maya Palace Designed by Scala.

The bride’s attendants were Brianna Wright (daughter), and Louise Corbiere (best friend from Swanton, Vt.). They wore designed dresses of their choice. The maid of honor was Rochelle Manning, sister of the bride.

The best man was Anthony DeFazio, groom’s best friend. Ushers were Colton Wright (son of the bride), and Tony Mellor (friend of the groom).

The flowers were provided by Sav on Flowers. The ring bearers were Austin and Colby Gaines (ages 5 and 3 years old), great-nephews of the bride.

A reception was held at McMahon’s Prime Steak House on the outside patio. The music was provided by four groups: Mystery Tour, who also provided Beatles music for the ceremony; Still Cruisin Band; Mel Rivers, formerly of The Drifters; and Ron Newon, formerly of The Diamonds. Susanne Wilson, best friend in Tucson, circulated the framed guest board.

Tim Ryan was the wedding photographer. Gifts were donations to Humane Society of Southern Arizona, and Casa de los Ninos.

The bride graduated from University of Arizona and attended BFA in St. Albans. She is employed at Tucson Medical Center as Registered Nurse Educator.

The groom is employed at Clear Channel Radio in Tucson, Ariz. as Morning Show Host at Cool 1450.

The couple took a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico. They have made their home in Tucson, Ariz.
