Gates - Bachelder

    FRANKLIN – Ashley Anne Gates, daughter of Gregg & Patricia Gates of Franklin, and Devin Lee Bachelder, son of Thomas Bachelder of Albany, N.Y. & Jeanice Micheli of Swanton, were united in marriage on July 7, 2007.
    The double ring ceremony was performed by Pastor Jason McConnell at the East Franklin Union Church.
    The Maids of Honor were Brenna and Emma Gates, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katie Gates, cousin of bride, and Joy Huseland, friend of bride. The flower girls were Mae Gates and Adira Maynard, cousins of the bride.
    The Best Men were Aaron and Bryce Bachelder, brothers of the groom. Groomsmen were Riley Kempton, cousin of the bride, and Grant Hanna, friend of the groom. Ushers were Thomas Gates and James Dewing, cousins of the bride.
    A reception took place at The Abbey Restaurant in Sheldon.
    The bride is a graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School and Gordon College. She is employed as the third grade teacher at Franklin Central School.
    The groom is a graduate of Missisquoi Valley Union High School and Gordon College. He is employed as a Budget Analyst with Northwestern Medical Center.
    The newlyweds honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. They have made their home in Franklin, Vt.





Talcott - Cullen

    FAIRFIELD - Pamela Sue Talcott, daughter of David & Jeannine Talcott of Fairfield, and Jonathan Michael Cullen, son of Carol Guyette of St. Albans & Keith Cullen of St. Albans, were united in marriage on July 7, 2007.
    The double ring ceremony was performed by Leonidas Laroche at St. Patrick’s Church in Fairfield. The wedding was followed by a reception at the Sheldon Casino, and a gathering at the Talcott family farm in Fairfield.
    The flowers were arranged by The Flower Patch and Beaver Meadows. Photos were taken by Janice Cullen, the groom’s step mother. Video was done by Suzanne Hall Parent.
    The maid of honor was Elizabeth Rapuano, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Kylee Ryan, cousin of the bride; Sarah Talcott, sister-in-law of the bride; Erica Collins, friend of the couple; Carrie Wamzgans, sister of the groom; Jennifer Burt, cousin of the groom; and Kaitlyn White, cousin of the groom.
    The best men were Alex and Zachary Cullen, brothers of the groom. The ushers were Jason Guyette, brother of the groom; David Talcott, brother of the bride; Patrick Talcott, brother of the bride; James Hayes III, cousin of the groom; and Scott Sprano, friend of the groom.
    The flower girl was Madison Guyette, niece of the groom. The ring bearer was Andrew Cullen, brother of the groom, assisted by Carson Cullen, son of the couple.
    Readings were provided by Brian White, uncle of the groom; Jill White, aunt of the groom; and Linda Berry, aunt of the bride. Gifts were presented by Keith Berry, cousin of the bride; and Barbra Breton, aunt of the bride.
    The bride is a 1999 graduate of BFA-St. Albans and a 2003 graduate of the University of Vermont. She is currently employed by the State of Vermont.
    The groom is a 2000 graduate of BFA-St. Albans and a 2004 graduate of Chowan University in North Carolina. He is currently employed at Sticks & Stuff in St. Albans.
    The happy couple resides in Fairfield.
