Painter - Callan

    SHELDON - Casey M. Painter, daughter of Michael & Jody Painter of St. Albans, and Jason P. Callan, son of Jack & Cecile Callan of Fairfield, were united in marriage on Sept. 22, 2007.
    The double ring ceremony was performed by Judge Roberta J. Allard at the Sheldon Casino.
    The Maid of Honor was Sarah Painter, sister of the bride. The Best Man was Dan Bergeron, friend of the groom.
    The reception was held at the Sheldon Casino, with music by Twothebeat. Photography was by Natalie LaRocque-Bouchard.
    The bride is a 2001 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans. She is presently employed at BFA in St. Albans.
    The groom is a 1996 graduate of Enosburg Falls High School. He is presently self-employed at Callan Carpentry.





Blanchette - Goodell
    
    ST. ALBANS - Guylaine C. Blanchette, daughter of the late Jean-Paul & Alphea Blanchette of St. Albans, and Maurice H. Goodell Jr., son of the late Maurice & Patricia Goodell of East Calais, Vt. and the late Lucy Goodell of Lyndonville, Vt., were united in marriage on Dec. 7, 2007.
    The double ring ceremony was officiated by Reverend Wilfred Houle at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Albans. Music was provided by Marie Chevalier, accompanied by Steve Marchand.
    The Maid of Honor was Johanne LaBounty, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Cynthia Teague, niece of the bride. The bride was escorted by her brother, Guy Blanchette.
    The Best Man was Maurice H. Goodell III, son of the groom.
    Readings during the ceremony were given by Julia Tardiff, friend of the bride, and Cynthia Teague, niece of the bride.
    The wedding was followed by a reception at The Abbey in Sheldon.
Music was provided by Edie Menard, sister of the groom, and 'Krazy Kountry Band.’
    Photographers were Karl Blanchette , Danny Glaude, nephews of the bride, and Karen Golden, niece of the groom. Flowers were arranged by 'Flowers by Debbie', Swanton. The cake was baked by a friend of the couple, Shirley Peltier.
    Mrs. Blanchette is a graduate of Southern Vermont College and Johnson State College and is currently employed by MVM Security in St. Albans, and the Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden County.
    Mr. Goodell is a graduate of the last class of Hardwick Academy in Hardwick, Vt., and is currently employed by the Vermont Department of Corrections in St. Albans.
    They have made their home in St. Albans.
