Vermont holds plenty of dining gems, we think Franklin County is home to many of the very best.

This first week of August, the St. Albans Messenger celebrates Franklin County’s culinary pride during our very own second annual Franklin County Restaurant Week.

From the many corners of Franklin County – from Richford to Montgomery to Berkshire to Swanton to St. Albans – over 20 restaurants will be preparing specials to truly show the excellent selections from their menus, right in your hometown.

View a full list of participating restaurant and their Restaurant Week specials.

While you’re out enjoying these many food selections, don’t forget to let us know what you think!

Instagram your restaurant food photos – everyone loves taking pictures of their plates – and use the hashtag, #dinefc to share your photos with the Messenger.

Use Twitter and the hashtag #dinefc to tell us about that awesome steak, fish & chips, or pasta you just discovered.

Visit www.samessenger.com/restaurantweek, and submit your name and email address for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to a Franklin County restaurant of your choice. Your vote will also decide on this year’s first annual Diners Choice Award that will be presented to one lucky restaurant.

Chefs and restaurant owners are working hard to bring you something exciting – all so you can enjoy it. Right here in your community – close to home!

Bon App├ętit Franklin County!
