ST. JOHNSBURY — Mary Jo Scott, formerly of St. Albans and most recently of St. Johnsbury, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 27, 2016 at the age of 72. She was known affectionately as ‘Mama Jo’. Born in Evanston, Ill. on Nov. 1, 1943, Mary Jo graduated in 1961 from The Ellis School, a private girl’s academy, in Pittsburgh, Penn.
