A memorial for Anna Alger continues to grow as people place flowers and candles along North Main Street in St. Albans. HIGHGATE — Lena Mae McAllister, age 61, passed away Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington with her loving family at her side. She was born in Windsor on Dec. 24, 1951, the daughter of Elsie (Tewksbury) Johnson and the late Howard Johnson. Lena graduated from Windsor High School class of 1969. She attended Castleton State College, after graduating from flight attendant school, and received her Bachelor’s degree in 1973. FRANKLIN — Ann Gates Kralik, age 84, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, S.C. She was born in Enosburg  on Dec. 8, 1928 the daughter of the late Winslow and Bernice (Riley) Gates. Ann married Joseph Kralik in 1947 and they resided in East Hartford, Conn., until 1972 when Joe, Ann and their son Bill moved to Hull, England for a year. RICHFORD — Lesley Anne Combs, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 while visiting her sister in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. She was born Jan. 1, 1972 in Burlington the daughter of Melvin and Esther (Johnson) Combs. Lesley loved her kitty’s, flowers, birds, bowling and TY collection.
